Easy assembly. I would recommend placing a small piece of wood behind where you will drill the pilot holes for installation as wood splits easily even with a small 7/64 bit. This is how I split a page. Touch the stain with a dab of gel. It is also recommended to round off the pre-drilled holes at both ends of the two shelves (detail D) before final assembly by tightening the fixing screws 2-3 turns. This makes it easier for the screws to find their channels when screwing in parts B and C from the outside.Update July 07: Downgrading by two stars as the second one I bought had crooked parts that could be seen when assembling. The picture shows how the bottom shelf and back piece (Part A) were misaligned by 1/8 inch. While I'll probably live with that for now, I'll have no hesitation in returning to Revain for a refund or replacement if yours looks like it. Too expensive for this crappy build.
