Don't underestimate the power of fragrance

Used once after moving to a new home. Can't tell if it works. So I trust the promise of the company. Our 1500 gallon tank, this 1 liter bottle is designed for use in a 750-1000 gallon septic tank. I ordered a 1 gallon bottle from the manufacturer ($49 + $12) so I could adjust the amount of liquid based on my reservoir size. Just a thought. You might want to use it in the farthest toilet and only after everyone else has fallen asleep. The smell is very strong and does not go away for several hours. It is not recommended to go to the toilet immediately after use unless you think you can survive the pungent eye odor. ****** TO UPDATE. Septic Service who pumped our tank dry last week assumed the effluent contained no solids. I conclude that the product works as advertised. It was used once every 1 year and 2 months. ********** UPDATE #2 (June 2013). oz - in GreenPig Solutions 53 concentrated real time septic treatment formula, 2 year supply because GreenPigs is so much better (IMO). And here's why: 1) there's no strong odor (Microbe-Lift really stinks, unlike GreenPigs it doesn't smell at all), 2) it's easier to store and store (Microbe-Lift comes in a bottle with a box delivered, GreenPigs comes in a very small packaging that has no smell). doesn't require much (if any) counter space), 3) easier to use (Microbe-Lift does not require flushing for 6 hours after you pour the liquid down the toilet - does not require a "non-use" period compared to GreenPigs) , 4) You get bigger bacteria (Microbe-Lift is $14 for a (one time) 6 month treatment, GreenPigs is $18 for a 2 year treatment. Do the math.
