Good wired headphones for the money. Anyone who says that the sound is excellent has obviously heard nothing better. The reality is they're good for the money, but they're not great. The sound is no better than normal AKG. They are comfortable, but the sound is neither clear nor bright, but continuous and busy. If you're looking for great sound look elsewhere, but if you're looking for a great value set of wired headphones with acceptable sound then this is a great buy. It's a simple fact: if you pay a few bucks, you get a few bucks worth. The rating reflects the fact that they are really good for the money, but not very good. But okay for the money. If I would have given 5 you might think they are great but they are not but they are really good value for money.
