I love this rustic, simple rustic table runner. It doesn't have a folded edge, but it does have a sewn edge, so it's not exactly a raw burlap edge that can fray. or be frayed at the ends. This is a very durable burlap fabric that would also work well at an outdoor party or on a tailgate to decorate a drop down table or plastic tablecloth. Plate or table decoration ideas you have. You can match it with any party or holiday decorations and use it in different places around the house all year round. I'm currently using it in the kitchen and dining room but would consider folding it in half and using it on shorter tables as an accent fabric to protect tables. It will also look great on a sofa or a long coffee table. As a texture effect, it adds to any surface I drop it on, just like regular or painted wood. This is the perfect length for both a 6 person kitchen table (shown) and an 8 person dining table. It's casual enough for everyday wear and simple enough to make a great base for a rustic fall Thanksgiving Christmas table. I would buy again if I needed more of these for a party or wanted more than one to match around the house. Overall I would recommend it.
