i made a horrible mistake dropping this thing in my tank. I grabbed something else and I had a lantern over the aquarium - turned off but connected to the mains. It slipped and fell right into my tank with all my roasts and shrimp. I cried out in horror several times and instinctively did the stupidest thing possible - I reached out and pulled the flashlight out of the water. please don't be like me HOWEVER, this particular light did not shock the fish or me. Of course it was over, BUT it was online. This must be done very well so that water does not immediately hit when plugged into the socket. My little fish and shrimp were swimming around like nothing happened and I was so relieved and grateful that I had to come out here and tell everyone that this light is legal. Do I recommend checking it yourself? No, God, please don't. But if you had a case like mine, a few seconds in the water didn't shock my fish. DISCONNECT IT and take it out. Thank you to this company for rescuing my dumb personality and Pisces with their well built light.
