Not sure if this was designed for Mac use or not

When I bought these I was specifically looking for a multi-button programmable mouse to use (and program on) a Mac ) can be. The commercial copy seemed to indicate that this mouse was just right for her. However, when it arrived, there was no mention of Mac compatibility on the box; he only mentioned Windows. I can't find a way to program it for my Mac. However, I used it because I desperately needed a mouse, but it only wobbles intermittently and inexplicably when booting into the Windows emulator (Bootcamp) on my Mac. So it's useless there. Also, intermittently and inexplicably sometimes the Mac side cursor just doesn't show up. I did not want. I may have misread the promotional text, but I was cautious and turned down many other mice because they made it clear that they would not serve my purpose on my Mac. As such, I tend to blame the erroneous descriptive copy rather than my own interpretation.
