I just received this bowl and my cats love it. I happened to read about "mustache fatigue" in cats and learned that cats can stop eating when their whiskers get tired from rubbing the sides of their food bowl. I thought I'd try these dishes and my cats are eating all of the food now. Funny story: my cats used to stop eating their old dishes. If I dumped the rest of the food on the floor, they would eat enthusiastically. I found it very strange. Now that they have these very low rim plates, they have no problem eating them. These bowls also have a cute design a few inches off the center. It helps me focus on the food and the design is also nice (for family members) to enjoy.
