workhorse! to other office equipment

Two words: workaholic! It's not for your random two or three hands. This is not for some small offices. But not to compete with a large shredding company. When you or your co-workers grind enough to stop grinding for a break. If you clean your grinder every few minutes, then this grinder is for you. It will run continuously. The only stop you get is when the bin is full. It stops, sometimes in the middle of the stack. The indicator light comes on to warn you when the tank is full. The basket size is large compared to a standard home machine or a small office machine. I took the photos with a stack of letter size paper next to it and in the bin so you can have a true size reference. If you work hard and feed him non-stop, the tank will be full in about 6-7 minutes (we calculated the time). The machine has fans that turn on and off to keep it cool. But if you run hard, you have a break every 6-7 minutes to empty it. The car is complete. It gets louder when you use it. However, if you notice it getting noisy, clean and oil it. We use a vacuum to remove any loose particles we can. Stuck parts that we can get to are removed with pickaxes (if you want to go that far). Then lubricate the car. With this model, we suck from above and below (container area). Lubrication can be done with lubricating plates or machine lubrication. Gun grease works well too. Use liquid, not fat/paste. The proof is in the pudding. After receiving this machine, we shredded three pallets of paper. Each pallet was 4 x 4 x 3 feet. Each pallet was filled with smaller boxes (paper box boxes and banker boxes). Everything is tightly packed. We operated the car between 2 and 8 hours each day depending on the available staff. We were able to knock out all three pallets in just 2 weeks. We still use this grinder every day. It's still quiet enough to use while the person next to you is on the phone. I chew paper, staples, paperclips, credit cards and CDs/DVDs. Note that while it can work with staples and paperclips, I'm sure it will last longer if you don't thread them through. The area around the mouth is scratched by staples and staples. It should also be noted that the entrance way goes straight down. Much easier than serving it at an angle. I definitely recommend this workhorse.
