Definitely still grey. I'm not sure who thinks this screen protector isn't grey, it definitely is grey, and as soon as I applied it I noticed a significant loss of clarity and definition (which isn't entirely unexpected with anti-glare screen protectors, but from others Reviews stating you, I think it's not). It adds nice texture to the screen, improves drawing with the Apple Pencil, and gets rid of fingerprint issues. I just wish I didn't have to sacrifice so much resolution for these benefits. Installation is easy and the product comes with instructions on how to ensure an accurate fit, which it really is if you follow them. Verdict: Great setup (no bubbles), no fingerprints, nice texture, but with a HUGE loss of resolution. The screen really doesn't look like Full HD anymore, let alone Retina. Recommended only if you can live with limited clarity.
