Review on CamelBak Water Bottle Tritan Renew Outdoor Recreation by Buddy Colbert

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Like its predecessor, now 50% recycled

This Eddy+ carries the Triton Renew label, which means it's now 50% recycled. Everything else is the same - BPA-free, they've kept the same kid-friendly handle design, and best of all, the bite valve used in the Eddy's predecessor matches this new model. So if, like me, you bought extra OEM bite valves in packs of 6 or so for your old Eddy bottles, you'll find that they fit these new Eddy+ bottles when you swap out the bottles since kids can chew them. . However, you must use the straws that came with those old bite valves. The bite tabs for the eddy+ are on the surface, they are similar but the straw insertion area is much larger and a larger diameter straw is used. You can't mix and match straws and bite valves between old and new, so don't throw away straws (if they're good) when swapping out bite valves. Clean but not a bargain glass for me. Overall, Camelbak has kept the usual cute and attractive designs for both girls and boys. They are durable and last a while barring scratches but I blame my kids(!). Please note Camelbak has discontinued Eddy from their website so Eddy+ may be the only model available to purchase or find leftover Eddy from Revain.
