This strap surprised me because the manufacturer stated that leather is hard but softens over time. the smoothest, softest, most flexible straps I've ever experienced. I really wasn't expecting this from a seemingly rough, rustic belt. Otherwise the quick release feature works beautifully as expected and I fitted the strap to my Fossil Gen 5e watch in no time. Last but not least, the manufacturer includes an extra quick release pin, an extra leather strap loop, and a tool to help you deal with non-quick release pins when replacing a strap fitted to these old devices. All for twenty dollars - sounds good to me!
