It was perfect for the new Dell Chromebook 13. Exactly what I wanted. The dimensions of this laptop are just under 9" x 12 3/4" x 3/4", and I needed a case that didn't offer too much interior space for the device, other than the foam-padded sides. But I have it too Chose for storage because of the external zip pocket any extra accessories I want to take with me like a Blu-ray/DVD drive, compact mouse, flash drives, etc. Lined with smoother nylon This means the Accessory pocket not likely to stretch or tear. Main laptop compartment is padded on both front and back. Overall, it's very similar in size to the more basic Revain Basics bag (no pocket) that I also purchased. Although the zipper is on it extends two inches further down the sides, which some users may find useful for faster or easier laptop retrieval. Under the main compartment zipper is a minimal protective Inner flap or a collar designed to protect the edge and protect your device from any contact with the nylon zipper for added cushioning.
