This is a great concept and my cats love playing Tower King/Queen. They especially argue about the hammock bed. However, the platforms are very small, so my largest cats can only use them as a step to a nearby bookshelf or window. The hardware isn't very well planned either. It needs to be screwed to the wall or it will fall down (which is very scary for all cats involved). The tension bar does not create enough tension to support the weight of an adult cat. and the included hardware does not fully secure the block to the drywall. I use my own hardware for this. It just pulled out of the wall (who knows what the cats did to make that happen!) and I have to reinstall it. This tower is about 6 months old and although it has been bolted vertically the whole time the bottom tier bolts are loosening and I can't tighten all tiers. I wish I had paid that much for it then I wouldn't mind all the extra hardware and glue I use to keep it from completely falling apart.
