I bought my first iPhone for $200 so this case was ready to go the moment I got my phone. Insert my SIM card, then remove the plastic from the phone and slip it straight into this Cordking case. Fits perfectly. how ideal. Even the tiny holes for the speaker lined up perfectly. I suggest inserting the phone into the case from the top first and then from the bottom. Part of the bottom lip twisted a bit when I tried to put it in and I noticed some resistance so I straightened it out and the bottom part immediately slid onto the phone very easily. So putting it on is very easy and takes about 2-3 seconds, if you feel some resistance. Check if the lip curled a little, don't force it. That should be easy. All in all it took me less than 6 seconds. My virgin phone sure won't get scratched on the back. I didn't even touch the back of the phone before putting it in the case - that should be a good swap if the front glass doesn't get badly scratched. I haven't touched the fluffy inside of the case but it looks so soft and inviting. like a mink coat for the phone -lol. The front edge isn't very thick, but it's high enough that I feel like I'm dropping a regular sofa on the floor to avoid scratching the front of the phone if it falls on a flat surface. It's up to you to decide whether or not to invest in a screen protector, and I think most people should. Since I usually only drop my phone at home, without it I will take risks and just be very careful. I tend to take things lightly, but a screen protector is better for most people, especially if you plan on tossing it in your purse or pocket where keys can scratch or drop it.
