first impression: this ring is just perfect! I have long wanted a yellow gold solitaire for my anniversary band (white gold engagement rings with diamonds). In my right mind I couldn't justify investing in another diamond ring, so we decided to try moissanite. The FIRE SPARK emanating from this ring is breathtaking! Pictures speak louder than words so be sure to check it out (all under LED light). Facts: My band is 18k gold; This ring is 14k and slightly yellower. Doesn't bother me at all. The ring sits almost flush with the band with a slight tilt near the stone. The stone teeth look a bit flimsy, but the warranty puts my mind at ease. The ring does not come in the pretty packaging seen on YouTube. So if you're buying it for an engagement, keep that in mind. 2ct and 14k stamped on the inside of the strap (previous posters mentioned this was not the case). The stone appears white to me even though it is an H color, perhaps due to the contrast of the yellow gold. Given the rising cost of DEF bricks, this is definitely a plus.
