Shoe size 12, purchased size 12. I have a flat wide foot and muscular calves. The width of the boot was very good all 5 toes were comfortable. Fit well around calves. I tried boot on with trouser socks. The inside of the boot has fur all throughout. Very soft and cozy. I wouldn’t wear a very thick sock with this boot, but a regular sock is fine. It feels like I’m walking on air.It is a boot for less than $30 so I don’t expect $200 craftsmanship. With that said it was put together well for less than $30. I am able to tie the strings and I don’t suggest anyone to tug excessively hard on the loops.
