Review on 🐱 Diverse World Sisal Cat Scratching Post and Cat Toys Set with Catnip by Kayla Guzman

We adopted two adorable siblings from a litter that was thrown into a heating pad on their birthday. We quickly realized how important it is to have a scratching post in every room of the house. My laundry basket is made out of woven straw-like material, natural color, and they were gone in this case. I despaired that we were going to lose the basket because of our insistence on not putting a cat tree (kitten play area) in our bedroom and listening to them tripping over this thing all night. When I saw that, I was surprised. if i could get them to scratch it by sticking it on the wall next to the basket. At first they didn't really get it (as kittens) but a week or so of gentle redirection did the trick. I have to say I am very impressed with this quality. It's like a paper towel holder that attaches to the wall in a very similar way. But sisal is woven and so strong - cats will live many years before they need to be replaced. Better still, the heavy-duty stainless steel bracket doesn't need to be replaced, so I'll just have to think about a replacement 'reel' in the future if that makes sense. Very happy with this purchase.
