Review on 🧗 Optimized Rock Climbing Rope Bag - NiceClimbs by Jeffrey Nunes

For $20 this is a great rope bag. Fits (previously) 100ft of 11mm Tech rope, Harness, 30ft of Combo Webbing, Carabiner, Rescue 8, Prusiks and 50ft of 6mm Assist rope and it tightens nicely. There will be more equipment as this will be the starting point for SAR. The way the pull cord works at the hole is great for tensioning the rope so it doesn't "completely" close. this creates a nice oval hole which, if your rope is laid correctly, provides a payout. With the metal tabs in place, it's as secure as it needs to be while maintaining ventilation (along with the bag's mesh insert) if your rope isn't dry when you drop it. Sure, the mat is small, but it's more of a tactical/one-purpose bag. There is enough space to pull off and attach the rope for the bag. If you need more, you have to spend more. For the money it's perfect for my gear. UPDATE: Having not yet taken this bag and its gear on a mission/challenge, I see a torn seam. The bag sits next to my other belongings where it won't be disturbed by the usual comings and goings. EPIC FAILURE.
