Follow Brother's instructions carefully, especially if you are new to laser printers. Your printer may need to be on throughout the replacement process. Those are just toner cartridges. As you remove each color block from the printer, it becomes a drum and toner block. You then need to remove the empty toner from the drum unit and replace it with one of these new toner cartridges. Be sure to clean the corona wire if necessary. After closing the printer cover, do nothing until the Ready message appears. This can take several minutes. If you follow the right steps for your printer, the results with these toners will be exceptional.
