Model this product? AMAZING price per product quantity? Very poor. It should definitely cost around $3-4 for this size. It has a medium scent just like a regular lip balm, no strong or unpleasant smell at all. I was upset to find out the local pet store was selling these things as a different brand in a small round $8 can that had more after I pressed the buy button two hours earlier. BUT applying this product is identical to applying lip balm to a baby: rub a little and then smudge with your fingers while moving. It's not hard at all, and a little goes a long way. Ivy now slips and slides when walking on hardwood floors, but that doesn't stop her from playing. As for the licking, she's curious as to what it is, so she licked it, but it wasn't pushy or serious. However, all dogs are different. It is important to the eye and to the touch. Her poor paws were very rough from walking and very active. But the wax helps smooth it out a bit!
