I'm not a professional and have minimal (30 or 40 wires) experience connecting network cables. I needed to hook up some Cat6 and found it difficult to use the normal connectors. The wires were too thick for me to straighten (wire 6 in particular) while still leaving enough jacket to hold the end of the clamp in place. This item worked great. I was able to strip a large number of wires, line them up easily, and then trim off the excess wire after pushing it through the connector. I could easily verify that each wire was in the correct position before crimping. Another reviewer mentioned that his clips don't snap. I noticed that the trigger on many of my clips was too small. I managed to lift them up a bit to put them in place. I'm not sure how this trick will work in the long run, but my clips stayed hungry throughout the test and again overnight. This will definitely work for me.
