Because it is a waist trainer, it is comfortable. It takes a while to get dressed which is good - I don't want it to be too easy. However, once it's on, I don't feel like the trainer's hooks will pop from the pressure. I feel safe and comfortable. And I sleep with it with no problems. I get really hot sleeping in it, but at night I'd rather feel warm than cool, so that suits me. I recommend it for the waist. It doesn't reach down far enough to control the abdomen. For the price of this trainer, this is tremendous value. Very well done. I recommend it. EDIT: This controls the tummy. You just have to pull it down. I wore it too high.
