So here's the thing. Everyone talks about the color transfer problem where your hands turn black and blue when you sweat. I fixed this on the advice of a leatherworking friend by simply rinsing the gloves in cold water a few times and letting them dry completely. only rested on a towel in between. It took a bit of time and effort but the gloves look and feel great and I enjoy skating in them. They look like a much more expensive glove. The conditioner didn't damage the skin. They may have shrunk by 5-10% but after wearing them for a few hours they fit my hands very well. So I think it's worth it.
