I need this stand so I can draw at an angle with my tablet. Even though it has multiple angles, I didn't quite get the right angle that I wanted. Not the fault of the product. It would be better if there was more angle adjustment, but it's enough. I haven't drawn on my tablet yet, but I've put my hand on it and it seems very stable. Rubber feet prevent slipping. It could probably be used for a laptop as well. It doesn't look cheap and it's not all plastic. Some parts are metal which is very good. I think it will continue with normal, non-offensive use. Prove it's a bit high. Overall I'm happy with it for my Huion 16" Drawing Tablet Monitor.
