I bought this jacket last year for winter for my 2t and 2-3 for him perfect with room to grow. We live in Ohio and it gets very cold here in the winter. I would use this car seat jacket every time and it is perfect. If it was particularly cold that day I would just throw a blanket over him, but that kept him warm for trips all winter when we didn't spend much time outside other than in the car or the store. Also the perfect fall coat. Not warm enough to play in the snow! I just bought the next size up for this winter as my son has had a major growth spurt since buying it. To be honest I want to order the next size up so I know I have one left in case they go out of sale. It is so good! Covers the head and space for a hat underneath. You won't regret buying this coat! It is easy to wear and wash with no problems.
