Review on ๐Ÿ” Enhanced SEO-Friendly Fisher Price Together Learning Linkimals for Toddlers by Ken Barnett

Cute, maybe not worth the money (mileage varies)

So my twins (20 months old) got some Linkamal toys and they loved them so much I added them to their collection for Christmas. They've been successful - kids are only interested in them when they're all singing along with other animals, and even then they prefer their moose linkamals (I think because they're smaller and more familiar). These toys are cute, incredibly snuggly, but the Velcro on the back catches on clothing and gets in the way when they're trying to snuggle up and take a nap. The issue with the velcro is understandable, it puts flaps on the back to close the battery compartment and switch, but they overlap very little and give fabric so the velcro only goes flat if you pull a couple of times and really watch after. When you are in the toddler sleep deprivation phase, you can't perfectly line up in the middle of the night or when you suddenly have to turn off the toy because the kid fell asleep with it in your arms. The switch can only be reached by opening this cover, which as I mentioned earlier can be problematic in several everyday situations - a child has fallen asleep on it, a child is playing with it, but you have to turn off the sound, so when you're on fumbling with switches, a meltdown occurs. To be honest, I could also use the function to select settings - for example turn the lights on and off but leave the sound on or vice versa. Like I said, it's pretty good. Nice. Could use a little more thought or execution on how they sewed the velcro on the back or where they placed the power button and they aren't as interactive as other linkamales (no moving parts or buttons other than pressing a button). tummy light source) and my kids are not as used to them as their other Linkamals but I think even the youngest child will really enjoy hugging them. I'm skilled with a needle and thread so I replaced their velcro with something softer that doesn't snag on their skin or clothing as often, but that might just be a quality issue with my particular pandas.
