The ball broke off when I put it in a triple hole in a tree. I've tried calling the company many times with no answer. I spent almost $80 on these plastic parts to hold my phone, which probably cost $1.50 to manufacture. The tech grip part feels solid and looks like it will work fine, but I don't know how the base plastic part broke. Didn't even use tools, just put it in by hand as instructed and the ball broke, I had to use a vise to get the broken part out, it certainly makes a good seal, no contact with the company I think I just threw away $80 don't waste money
