I love the bag; Hate Straps

Read Product Information First. It doesn't glow that way in all conditions. It's like a combination of origami, scales and armor. It will collapse a little if not empty. I really like it because I bought it to carry around on the bus. My regular college style book bag remains unwieldy even when empty. It's compact. That being said, this isn't your college portfolio. Organic chemistry doesn't fit in here (a small tray or notepad/book can). I carry a large Contigo coffee maker, two glasses cases, office keys, a pair of gloves and a small bag of snacks. It takes up maybe 60% of the space. I would call it more of an everyday backpack than a book bag. This works great for what I need. things I like; Origami-like design, reflective, the design of what I want to wear. things I worry about; the lining feels like a strange felt; I don't know how it will be over time, but so far so good. Some have complained about the flash. No problems yet, but it's easier to attach when the bag is a bit full. Cons: Hand straps. This fabric is like a very shiny, slippery seat belt fabric (no padding, no rubbing). If you wear it on one shoulder (not as a full backpack) on a jacket with a slippery surface, it won't stay in place and keeps slipping. The straps attach well to the body of the bag, but the problem is with the fabric. If you slung it over one shoulder and were wearing fleece or a sweatshirt, it may stay in place, but any raincoat or similar surface is totally non-slip or clingy.
