Review on πŸ”Š VIZIO 36 inch Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer and Bluetooth - SB3651ns-H6: 5.1 Channel Home Theater Surround Sound System by Sharon Payne

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Simple, elegant and dignified.

If you are looking for an affordable system, then this model is for you. Unboxing: I was impressed with what was in the box and how it was packaged. Little packaging material, which is always an advantage. What really blew my mind is that the cables are in a different box, separated and organized in a way that any hardcore OCD cable tech would have an orgasm. All the cables you need are applicable to any connection scenario. Very impressive. All speakers are easy to unpack with minimal packaging waste. Installation: In addition to the Vizio brand, I was motivated to buy HDMI ARC. After my speakers were placed and connected, I stumbled around a bit trying to figure out how to connect them to my TV. I tend to think too much, and this is where I kind of had a short circuit. Once I calmed down, I was able to figure out what to do. I was afraid I would have no sound from my other devices like my BD player and PS3. Once again, overthinking got in the way. The audio worked as usual and honestly there was nothing to worry about. Everything connected very well and I had a fully working surround sound system within minutes (minus 30 for over-thinking). Bluetooth: I'll knock on that. I connected my phone and it played music perfectly. Listening to Caligula's Horse, Contact was almost a religious experience. My daughters walked into the living room with that damn face that only kids can make. I made them sit on the couch and they immediately recoiled when they felt the subwoofer hit. It's been a few years since I've had surround sound, so I felt like a kid again. I once rode my phone about 15 feet, though it had a few hiccups. The sound skipped and disappeared, then returned to normal. After a few songs everything was finally decided. So not sure if it was my phone or if it was the soundbar. In general, I put 3 *. Remember that it will calm down after about 20 minutes. Sound: Phenomenal. The rear speakers are crisp. The sub hits well. It doesn't overwhelm the sound at all and really adds to the atmosphere of what we saw. The soundbar itself projects well and is just as clear as the rear speakers. By the way, the cables for the rear speakers take a few days to arrive and you don't have to worry about speaker placement depending on how you place the subwoofer. The subwoofer is thin and almost fits under my sofa. We have it in the back corner. I would like to put it below, but it's too low. Remote control: I don't use it. I have a Logitech universal remote and it works perfectly. After setting it up, I programmed it to control the sound from the TV thanks to the ARC cable. Overall: I give 5/7. Looks great and sounds great. Not a lot of frills, which is normal in my book.
