I ordered this almost exactly 6 months ago. Seems to work but falls apart with normal use. Build quality is incredibly cheap even when compared to my relatively younger Furman. It's not AC but I doubt it's even surge protector to be honest. Luckily I didn't have to find out. Simply picking up this device, you can say that it is cheap, and the sockets literally fall out. I'm using a King Tone Ironman II Attenuator and I can hear it turn on and off with the slightest movement. NOT GOOD. I usually don't do this and buy a cheap option. I used it on my guitar amps which together cost tens of thousands of dollars so why would I buy a $50 extension cord, I still don't know why, I must have had whiskey that night. If you just want easy expansion and MUST have a rack then I think this will do what you need for one time use or on very rare occasions but I cannot advocate keeping this in a rack. If you have over a couple hundred worth of gear just order a Furman, I have a few in other racks and they have lasted me over 10 years and still work. For $50 I think that's fine, but it's kind of stupid to spend $50 to protect thousands of dollars worth of gear, so don't repeat my mistake. Just invest in a quality air conditioner.
