These flashlights are bright, versatile and built to last. Using solar power means I don't have to fiddle with extension cords looking for street power outlets. The charge lasts almost all night, at least until 4:30 am. It's at least 9 hours. I use them in flash mode, maybe that's why they last so long. The colors are great for Christmas around palm trees and front bushes. Yes, the wires are thin but surprisingly strong. I've found that by slowly moving and expanding the lights in circles (loops) rather than straight, placement becomes much easier; and I don't have to use hooks. I just neatly wrap wires around corners or wood.
