I originally ordered a medium size as I figured it would fit a youth size 8-10. it's not, I had to go back and order a big one. Even the big one is small and hardly fits in. I have a small child who wears youth clothing aged 8-10 which is usually a bit too big for her. This shirt will probably last a few months before it outgrows it. From what I've seen, the medium size is suitable for 5-6 year old teenagers, and the large size is suitable for 7-8 year old teenagers.
