First, it's important to note that this is a light exfoliating body lotion. It's not a "scrub" per se. I'm 60 (F). About a month ago, during my "annual" (postponed due to COVID) skin exam, my dermatologist indicated that I had follicular keratosis on the back of my shoulders. It's fairly soft - no visible bumps, but definitely rough. I have it more severely on my chest - I actually thought it was acne. She recommended an over-the-counter lotion with 15% lactic acid. Stinks horribly! (If you have this problem and have tried a similar product, you know everyone seems to be complaining about it). This Advanced Clinical Lotion contains 2.2% lactic acid and is unscented. It's much nicer. I use both products (one on each hand). This product is helpful but less dramatic than the more medicinal ones. But it smells MUCH better (no fragrance and VEGAN). This is a GREAT option if you have a mild problem or if you just want to keep it under control and be with other people. It is a light, well-moisturizing cream that spreads easily.
