Overall: Super portable external monitor. I originally bought this for travel, but because it's so small and easy to set up, it can be used anywhere my laptop is. Fits in a laptop bag without taking up much space. Pros: - Bright, clear monitor - Lightweight and portable - Works with anything that has an HDMI output - Comes with cables - Includes an iPad-like 'smart cover' that doubles as a stand. : – The speakers are not very good. Your laptop sound is probably better. Packaging: Brown cardboard box with imprint. Not fashionable, but suitable as a gift. Other: I was hesitant when this arrived, it looked very small but it's clear and bright and works great next to my laptop. It can also act as an extra screen on your desktop, using the flexible tablet neck mount for a dedicated email screen that you can tuck out of the way when not in use. This is my new favorite technology. I don't really care about the sound. I actually wonder why they thought including speakers would be a good idea.
