Review on πŸŽ’ Kensington Backpack for 13-Inch and 14-Inch Chromebooks and Ultrabooks: Stylish and Functional Carry Solution by Jim Larson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent backpack, problems with the zipper.

***Updated this review after a few months of owning and using this backpack*** Unfortunately, I definitely cannot recommend this backpack. Save money and buy something else. Looks good, but what's the use of a good looking backpack that is useless? After just a few months, ALL the zippers had problems. I can't open or close zippers without problems. I was hoping this backpack would last at least a year because it's cheap and at least a year wouldn't be bad for the price. But I'm already in the market and looking for something else. It's a shame to take anything out or put it in a backpack and the zipper won't open or close at all and gets stuck in the middle. Then you have to try going back and forth a few times hoping it will open/close and even then the zipper won't align properly meaning it will do the same thing again next time. This is not due to misuse of the backpack. I'm very careful and only used it on a light Dell laptop as mentioned in my original post. The back zippers are just cheap and not meant for everyday use. Disappointing. -------------------- The Kensington Triple Trek Slim looks great and packs a lot of space for its small size. I have my little Dell XPS 13, my iPad mini, my laptop, all the cables and chargers I have and a few other small things and it looks very thin and still feels empty. Unfortunately, the flash got stuck in one spot after a few uses. I can always force it, but what worries me is that I always have to zip back and forth multiple times to get past that spot. Others also complained about the main zip, so I knew it could be an issue even before I received the bag, but I was hoping that Kensington had already fixed the zip issues.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not as good as it promises
