This light is fine. I use 2 on a 15 inch cube. Plants grow! All of my plants are fairly easy to grow and the light is a little uncomfortably large for my situation, so the light isn't necessarily to blame. However, I just can't stand this light with a Kelvin temperature (not 7500k), this light is too warm for me, there is a yellow-green color cast that I don't like in my planted aquarium. If you have warmer fish that aren't too planted you might like this light. If you're more like me and prefer a whiter daylight color (cool). I think you'll like the other light better. Much luck!
