Speakers can be spaced approximately 32 " apart

Cables past the Y connector are only approximately 18" long each. So, given the curvature of the cables that connect them to the speakers, the speakers can only be placed about 32 inches apart, which is too close for me, see photo. The quality seems excellent and the speakers sound great but because I can space the speakers far enough apart they go to the back. I wish the product description was clearer on the length of each cable.
