Serious unplugging issues within minutes of first use

The title says it all: Within minutes of unboxing and plugging in my newly purchased Steelseries Arctis 9X, multiple instances of the headset were having blurry audio occurred many times. Each instance inevitably resulted in a complete disconnect from the console after a few minutes. This is incredibly frustrating as all the features of the advertised headset are present. For the minimal time I've been using the product: it's very comfortable, the sound quality is good (as far as I could hear when it was connected), based on friends' feedback, the microphone chat quality was too clear, the structure is solid and the user interface with controls on the headset is easy to read and understand. I really wish I would like this product and if this problem was 1. less common and 2. not such a widespread problem that hasn't been solved by SteelSeries this product would get 4 stars or maybe it's easy to get a 5- Get a star rating based on how the product ages with regular use. My recommendation: Stay away from this product until Steelseries releases an official firmware update for the Arctis 9X to fix this issue. If a product does not perform its primary function properly, it should not be considered for purchase. Update: After at least a month of use, I've found that the disconnects are due to wireless interference from other devices and the lack of a direct communication link. view from the console. As long as the device is relatively close to the console and within sight of the console, the connection will no longer drop. This is disappointing as the technology to avoid these issues is cheap and readily available and has been neglected by Steelseries.
