This high resolution Acer monitor is fantastic. Our old tube TV has finally taken a bite of the big one and until we find a suitable TV for sale we'll be using this monitor with a pair of speakers hooked up to a DVD player as our TV. That works great. It's amazing how much better our DVDs look on this screen than on an old high-definition tube TV. Once we have a TV again, I look forward to putting this monitor back on my desk to use with my MacBook Pro when I'm at work. artwork. It's absolutely great to be working on a big screen instead of a 13" monitor when trying to get shadows or skin tones right. We are very happy that this is not a lightweight. The base is solid.
