First of all I would like to say that this is a great LED strip set. This is a complete kit with everything you need to start your headlights. It has a self-adhesive LED strip but also includes 3M clips to hold the strip. There are also a few "jumpers" that you can use to bridge gaps where you may not need a full set of LEDs. I wish the lights were a little brighter, but if you're setting the mood in an already dark room they should work great and make great accent lights. Your options are endless, you can place them anywhere as long as you have access to an outlet. You can use it to cover a computer case, light up the back of a TV for general lighting, decorate the underside of kitchen cabinets and shelves - anything you can think of. They don't get very hot, which is a plus. I haven't used the voice control feature yet, but you can set it up and then use various digital assistants to control your lights. All in all, this kit should have everything you need to create some subtle ambient lighting in a small to medium sized room.
