I don't know what they did with it. I've been feeding this to my dog for years. Never had a problem until recently. My dog used to get excited about the food like most dogs do, but now when I open them he runs up, sniffs the food and leaves. In the end she will eat it, but not willingly. She also gives her terrible diarrhea and has terrible gas and breath. It is legal in all flavors. As soon as I switched to another brand, all of these problems went away almost immediately. They must have changed the formula or recipe along the way without saying anything. Unfortunately I will not buy again.
