We love this table! The sea wave color is soft, not too bright. The surface is smooth and has held up very well so far. Assembly was easy, my husband and I assembled all the parts in under 10 minutes with no tools. My 2 year old loves it and I can see her using it for a few more years before she outgrows him. My husband even sat in the chairs with no problems! The style is fantastic and we don't mind having it in our main living room because it looks lovely and doesn't look like your typical cheap kids' table. If you're on the fence, buy it! It's worth it.
