I am very happy with the result. It's a lot easier than I expected, but to be honest I did two because I didn't like my positioning in the first challenge. The first time I sat on a folding chair, but I wanted my stomach to be more defined, so the second time I tried it I sat on a stool to sit a little straighter. Definitely recommend the stool over the chair! Also, I highly recommend using a fan or air conditioning as Mom can get so hot. I was fine until the end, and then I almost passed out from getting so hot as my husband placed the final strips on my chest/shoulders. After that I had to rip off the cast and get up to get water and a fan. Luckily the patch dries quickly so it wasn't damaged at all. In the second round I only had a fan next to me and ice water. The lube they provide is great and works well! Plaster is very easy to remove after drying. I know this may be obvious to some, but this is a very messy project. Make sure you have space and nothing around you that you can't risk getting covered in clay. Most surfaces could be wiped clean with a damp cloth but I just wanted to warn you! Also, try to only wear what you like to get dirty or even throw away. My husband had drops of clay on his hands and feet and I only wore underwear and ended up throwing the underwear away because of the amount of clay on it. Apparently washing clay and then drowning it is no good if you have a septic tank (which I do). All in all a great purchase and I think it would make a great gift too!
