lids work very well - nothing leaks and they are easy to use. Liquid sizes were listed on the sides of every bottle I've bought recently, which was helpful for the size restrictions airlines can take. I particularly liked being able to lock the lids so there haven't been any large bottles spilling in my laundry bag after a few long haul flights lately. Smaller round flat containers are also great for pills and face creams. Does not splatter and is easy to use. When they arrived they smelled like 'manufacturing' but I put all the bottles and caps in the dishwasher and they were fine. I've bought them in a few different sizes and they've definitely been a real asset for air travel and camping.
