This splint is probably great for immobilizing the elbow, but you can't put it on yourself. The velcro straps aren't long enough to stay in the plastic hooks while trying to get your arm into the sleeve. Attempting to insert the straps with one hand proved almost impossible for me after tightening the sleeve. I'm sure some people can do it, but my fingers aren't dexterous enough to make it happen. Especially with the velcro stuck to the straps and sleeves all the time trying to do it in the dark with a partner and a pet trying to sleep - fugu over that!
