Review on Climb Apex Climbing Shoe Yellow by Joseph Whiteman

First pair fits perfectly. Spare pair, not so much. I have owned over 8 pairs of Climb X shoes over the same number of years. Fit, price and performance were excellent. Until the very last Apex order. After 4 weeks of use, a velcro strip came loose as well as micro-cracks near the heel loops. After speaking directly to Climb X, they offered to investigate and evaluate the issues. I was told that the next production would be in 4-6 weeks and after that they would send a replacement. Replacement came 2 months after shipment. When I opened the box I found that the quality is not there. The hard creases came from the way they were folded, stains and excess rubber and glue from attaching the rubber to the toe. And somehow (same size as original order) was almost a full size bigger. Basically, my feet were floating and my heel kept popping out while climbing. Not perfect. After another round of negotiations with Climb X directly I decided to return them to Revain for a refund. Maybe those were the two games I had experience with, but something wasn't right. Until there was a problem with the strap on the first pair, they were very uncomfortable, great for small hooks and almost perfect to wear. Check your size before ordering.
