This was my first handbag from Vera Bradley. I understand why they are so popular - there's a bag for everything! I give five stars because it is beautiful and well made. However, I didn't pay attention to the size and the handbag turned out to be much smaller than I expected. External pockets on each side would have been nice for a small phone, but my Motorola Optima Max protruded more than an inch from the top of the pockets. If the wallet was empty, the phone fits perfectly in your pocket. But as soon as I put in a small tube of lotion, a pair of reading glasses, and maybe a few odds and ends, the wallet filled up so the outside pockets became too small because my phone couldn't fit to the bottom of the outside pocket. . This slightly oversized bag would be perfect for my needs. I had to send these back.
