Review on πŸ”‹ Upgraded Battery-Operated Emjoi Epi Slim Epilator - Latest Edition by Wine Gray

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Make sure your batteries are good!

For most of my adult life I have struggled with thick, coarse facial hair due to PCOS. I had to shave every day, otherwise I'd have a man's beard, mustache and burns on my sides. My upper lip was constantly red from razor cuts and I was constantly checking and applying makeup and avoiding anything that would make me sweat in front of people. 20 years of it. I decided to try the hair removal after several weeks of reviews and research. I won't lie, it hurts like a mother's first time. Especially if you have coarse and thick hair, but if you're tired of messing with your hair, you'll suck it out because it's worth it. The second time I laughed because the pain wasn't even a third of what it was the first time. I also have the Remington Smooth and Silky epilator, which works great, but this one really gets into the crevices of your face and isn't very loud, so it's not that scary. I personally would like a corded version of this epilator but I have rechargeable batteries so that's fine. I thought it was defective after the first use but my batteries weren't very good, I changed them and it works great! This epilator leaves stubble that you can hardly feel with your hand and I don't think it hurts either. Any hair removal can be painful, and while it was very painful the first time, daily razor burn and skin irritation was painful every day, not just once or twice a week. I've been going into town without makeup since I started using my emjoi, and I've never gone out without makeup before. I LOVE Emjoi!
