The product worked relatively well for adding reverse LEDs to my 5th generation Nissan Altima. The resistors had to be attached to the car's chassis, so I used hot melt glue. Heat wasn't a problem. However, I would like to point out three things: 1. When connecting this device to your car's connector, you must wrap the two connected connectors with electrical tape to prevent moisture ingress. I didn't and my terminals rusted to the point where my headlights stopped working. I had to clean them with a metal brush. I hope that future versions of this will have some kind of impregnation.2. The pins on the connector are fragile. you will break I broke one of the pins. Now it's useless and I need a whole new set.3. The connector didn't quite fit into port 7443 on my machine. The swivel and locking mechanism was wrong. I had to shave off one of the mounting flanges to get it to fit. They also work well electrically. Be careful with them and remember to cover them to keep moisture out.
