I was recently immersed in the world of 4K when my Samsung plasma died. I literally dived headfirst into buying a 65-inch Quantum Vizio P series, a Sony Ultra 4K receiver and an Nvidia Shield TV. I had things connected with the HDMI cables I had, but obviously there was no delivery of Dobly Atmos or Dolby Vision to the set. I ordered these cables as a set of 2, the length and characteristics fit me exactly what I needed. Unfortunately I was wrong. I've been messing around with the settings for 3-4 days, searching Nvidia forums, Vizio forums, etc., but never got Dobly Vision to work with the shield at a refresh rate above 30Hz. which made no sense to me. . I found and turned on the HDMI setting "Enanahced" on the receiver, as well as the "Full Color" setting on the HDMI input of the TV, but still no cube. Upon review, I bought a Moster cable set from my local Walmart and BAM! Everything works as expected. Dolby Vision, HDR10, Atmos and all other formats now work as expected from the Shield. On top of that, those monster cables weren't much more expensive than what I ordered from Revain. Lesson learned. Save yourself the headache.
